The Center for Creative Living is an affiliated member of the United Church of Religious Science.  Religious Science is described as a compilation of the opinions of philosophy, the laws of science, and the revelations of religion as applied to the aspirations of humankind. Ours is a practical teaching that affirms perfect health, happiness, peace, and joy in their lives of all people.

The symbol for our community is the Rainbow, which represents Universal Oneness.  When light arrives on Earth from the Sun it appears as pure white, but when that light moves through water droplets, it expands into a full spectrum of beautiful colors.  For us, this symbolizes Divine Spirit, moving into physical form, individualizing as the Creative Presence within all things.

Our founders, Rev. Barbara and Dr. John Waterhouse are Ordained Religious Science Ministers. They provide a unique approach to life and to our under-standing of the Divine. For more information, click the ministers button above.

Introduction to Spiritual Mind Treatment - Mondays, 7-9pm beginning May 12th. Join John Waterhouse for an exploration into the spiritual practice of affirmative prayer.  This course addresses how to create fulfilling relationships, greater prosperity, vibrant health and a deeper awareness of Divine Presence.  The text for this class, Five Steps to Freedom, is available through our bookstore.  Everyone is welcome and child care is provided.  Love offering.

CfCL member, Toni Watkins, is hosting the new Soul Series Webcast by Oprah Winfrey on the big screen at the Center for Creative Living on Monday evenings at 9:00 p.m. Oprah’s Soul Series begins  May 12^th. The New Holographic Universe Workshop Saturday, May 24th, 10am - 12pm - Join CfCL member Lisa Alcorn for a tour of the New Holographic Universe and explore a model that explains: how thoughts create, the power of emotion, how you can be an individual in 3-dimensions yet one collective whole in 4-dimensions and one secret in transcending time and space.  Bring a bag lunch and join Lisa for a continued discussion following the workshop from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.  For more information, please contact Lisa at 545-2571.  Child care is provided.  Love offering.

Special Guest Speaker and Afternoon Workshop Rev. Dr. Lloyd Tupper Sunday, May 25th - Join us as we welcome Rev. Dr. Lloyd Tupper as our Guest Speaker during both Celebrations of Life on Sunday, May 25th.  His topic will be, "Prayer; Let Me Show You a Different Way ."   Dr. Tupper entered Religious Science in 1967.  He graduated ministerial school in 1974, and was ordained in 1982.  Dr. Tupper has held four pulpits in the Religious Science movement.   He is now the Founding Minister Emeritus of the Golden Gate Center for Spiritual Living in Corte Madera , CA and President Emeritus of the Holmes Institute, of which he was the first president. Dr. Lloyd is sure to inspire as he shares his gifts and experience with us.  Join us for an afternoon workshop facilitated by Dr. Tupper, titled "Transferring the Burden; Anxiety and Worry", based on the teachings of Thomas Troward.  This workshop begins at 1:00 p.m. and is given on a Love Offering basis.

Inner Peace Revealed - Thursdays, 7-9pm beginning April 10th with Art Ramsey, RScP. Join Art for an experimental and transformative class 8 week class focused on developing and expanding the Art of Inner Peace.  The text for the class, by the same name, will be available the first night of class.  Flyers and a sign-up sheet are on the Welcome Center. Tai Chi - Wednesday evenings, 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. CfCL Practitioner Tom Wright is facilitating a Tai Chi class on Wednesday evenings.  Tom has 37 years experience with the Martial Arts and has earned many Black Belts in various styles.  The practice of Tai Chi unifies Body, Mind and Spirit through gentle flowing movement.  For more information, please call Tom at 633-0462.  Love offering.

Meditative Music with Aurora Fox - Following our Celebration of Life, the first and third Sundays of the month, Aurora Fox offers her beautiful piano music for a meditative experience between 12:45 and 1:15 p.m. Join us for this delightful musical journey!
